Encouraging Homeschool Moms and Parents

SAMSUNG CAMERA PICTURESA former career woman who never planned on being a stay-at-home mom, Penny Ross quit her job when she was eight months pregnant with baby number one.  It turns out that God had a very different plan for her life than she did. She and her husband Greg have been blessed with three children, whom they homeschooled from kindergarten through high school graduation. She’s been supporting and encouraging homeschool families for 30 years, beginning with leadership at Hope Chapel Academy and now through her own business, Tools for the Home Educator.   Penny has a degree in Business Administration from La Verne College.IMG_1098 - Cropped

Penny and Greg, college sweethearts, have been happily married for 40 years. Their 3 children not only survived homeschooling, but have lived to tell about it.  Two are now engineers; one is a linguist.  Penny is a proud  “Grammie” to Linnea, Lucia, Stuart, and Ian.  Penny also works part-time supporting the Pastor/Elders at Redeemed South Bay in Torrance.

Penny currently encourages and supports homeschooling parents at  Tools for the Home Educator, located in Torrance, CA.   Through private consultations, assistance in selecting teaching materials, and with 13305116_10153756648582807_7223205749367626771_oworkshops and seminars, she shares her passion for and knowledge of homeschooling methods and approaches with the current generation of homeschooling parents.  Check out the website at  www.toolsforthehomeeducator.com to learn more about how she can help you and when you can stop by to browse her selection of curriculum and teaching resources.
